About the procedure

The skin around the eyes is several times thinner than that on other parts of the skin. It contains neither fatty tissue nor sebaceous (oil) glands, and – additionally – the intensive facial expressions accelerate the development of wrinkles. The specific dermal structure around the eyes requires special care. The Global Eyecon therapy is a combination of two treatments during a single appointment. The first one involves peeling with skin brightening effects, followed by anti-ageing and regeneration mesotherapy. The purpose of such a series of treatments is to eliminate skin imperfections around the eyes, which manifest as wrinkles, oedemas, as well as shadows and bags under the eyes.

What does the treatment procedure look like?

The first stage is the consultation with a physician to assess the skin condition, discuss the procedure itself and the expected results. Next, we move to the procedure proper, which consists of 3 consecutive steps.

First, a special PEELING is applied to the skin around the eyes. The peeling applied during the treatment procedure has a comprehensive anti-ageing and depigmenting action that harmonises the skin texture (the peeling contains, amongst others, azelaic, phytic, citric and lactic acids).
The second step involves MESOTHERAPY using a special anti-wrinkle and skin brightening cocktail that additionally inhibits the formation of discolourations. The cocktail contains sweet clover extract, troxerutin, phytic acid, and liquorice root extract.
The third, and the last, step is the application of a special hydrogel MASK designed to fit exactly the area around the eyes. The rich content of the mask makes the skin feel soothed and moisturised after the treatment procedure. The ingredients include such substances as hyaluronic acid, as well as extracts from Aloe Vera, red algae and cucumber. Moreover, the mask improves the absorption of the substances applied during the treatment procedure. The mask is the last relaxing step and takes from 15 to 20 minutes to apply.

Pain sensations

A huge advantage of this procedure is its painlessness. Before the procedure starts, the treatment area is anaesthetised with a cream that makes the treatment absolutely comfortable.

Duration of the treatment procedure

The estimated duration of the entire treatment procedure is approx. 30–45 minutes.

Post-treatment recovery

Patients can resume their normal daily activities immediately after the procedure. Despite great precision of the treatment procedure, it may produce minor bruises that can be covered with a foundation.
