About the procedure

The area around the eyes is the first to manifest fatigue, dehydration, sleep deprivation or collagen loss in the form of wrinkles. The Fotona laser revitalisation of the eye area is our own original and comprehensive procedure aimed at boosting the repair and regeneration of the skin, thereby smoothing out the wrinkles, improving the skin tone and its revitalisation. The best effects are achieved by combining laser treatments with the VITAL INJECTOR mesotherapy which is based on special agents selected for the individual needs of each Patient, e.g. reducing oedemas, brightening the shadows under the eyes, moisturising the skin, flattening the wrinkles and improving the skin tone around the eyes.

What does the treatment procedure look like?

Before the treatment procedure, there is a consultation appointment with a physician who assesses the condition of the skin, as well as discusses the procedure itself and the expected results. Then, the patient undergoes the treatment procedure consisting of 2 stages.

The first one involves THE ELIMINATION OF WRINKLES, by targeting the existing wrinkles with the laser’s energy. As a result, the skin cells are stimulated to produce new collagen fibres and fill in the wrinkles from “the inside”.
The other results in the improvement of SKIN FIRMNESS. Laser Er:YAG creates thermal points that initiate the release of fibroblast-stimulating factors for the production of new collagen fibres. The skin surface is not damaged because the technology applied is non-ablative and works in the deepest layers of the skin, thereby making the treatment effects last longer.

Pain sensations

A huge advantage of the treatment procedure is its painlessness. During the procedure, the skin feels warm and the simultaneous stream of cold air makes it absolutely comfortable.

Duration of the treatment procedure

The estimated duration of the entire treatment procedure is approx. 30–45 minutes.

Post-treatment recovery

The treatment procedure requires no recovery period. The non-ablative laser acts in the deep layers of the skin, without damaging the surface of the epidermis. Patients can resume their normal daily activities immediately after the procedure.

use of vasodilating drugs;
use of blood thinners (anticoagulants);
use of oral retinoids within the last 6 months;
use of photosensitising drugs and supplements (therapy must be discontinued 2 weeks before the treatment procedure);
use/application of steroids (in the form of tablets or creams);
consumption of herbs, such as St. John’s Wort (Hypericum perforatum L.), marigold (Calendula officinalis L.) and camomile (Matricaria chamomilla L.), must be discontinued 2 weeks before the treatment procedure;
active autoimmune diseases (e.g. systemic lupus erythematosus, scleroderma);
predisposition to keloids and hypertrophic scars;
active viral infections: HIV, viral hepatitis;
active neoplastic disease;
pregnancy and breast-feeding;
pacemaker;
epilepsy;
application of substances containing vitamin A derivatives (retinoids) or other photosensitising agents to the area to be treated (therapy must be discontinued 2 weeks before the treatment procedure);
application of tanning balms or self-tanners (therapy must be discontinued 2 weeks before the treatment procedure);
peelings or other treatments performed on the area to be treated (over the last 2 weeks before the treatment procedure);
tanned skin.
