The Alma Harmony PRO laser platform offers extensive treatment possibilities thanks to the application of state?of?the?art technological solutions, including the Dye-SR module which employs the original AFT technology and a narrow-band spectrum for precision treatment of pigmented lesions.
The Q-Switched Nd:YAG laser creates controlled microdamage in the dermis, thus breaking down melanin in the pigmented lesions, without affecting the epidermis. During the healing process, the immune system gets rid of the damaged discoloured cells and exposes the brighter skin underneath.
The Dye-SR procedures can be conducted by means of the stamping method or using the In-Motion technique in order to gradually heat the skin and ensure the Patient’s comfort. The In-Motion technique is particularly recommended for darker skin phototypes.

The laser removal of discolourations is recommended for individuals who have been suffering from both deep and superficial pigmented lesions. The Alma Harmony PRO platform offers extensive treatment possibilities, the Q-Switched Nd:YAG 1064 nm laser treats deep pigmented lesions, whereas the KTP applicator doubles the laser’s frequency to 532 nm, thus making it possible to reach the superficial pigmented lesions.
The person performing the procedure puts special protective goggles on the Patient. Next, a dab of gel is applied on the treatment site before the procedure on the indicated area is started. When the procedure is over, the Patient receives post-treatment recommendations to follow.
Our Patients describe this procedure as comfortable. During the procedure, the skin feels slightly warm.
The number of recommended treatment procedures is an individual matter and depends, amongst others, on the type of discolourations. The first results are visible as early as after the first treatment procedure. However, in order to achieve full effects, it is recommended to undergo a series of at least three (3) treatment procedures.
Depending on the treatment site, the procedure takes from 15 minutes on a small area (e.g. the forehead) to 30 minutes of a larger area (e.g. the whole face).
After the procedure, slight reddening may appear to the skin, which normally fades within a few hours. Patients may also develop slight swelling (oedema), which persists for up to a few days after treatment. Patients can resume their normal daily activities immediately after the procedure. The treatment procedure requires no recovery period.
