BTL UNISON offers a unique combination of two effective technologies, namely monopolar radiofrequency (radio waves) and shock wave (acoustic wave). It is the only system that combines these two technologies within a single applicator.
The heat generated by the radio waves shortens and thickens collagen fibres, while the impulses of the shock wave stimulate fibroblasts to produce new fibres. This process results in the formation of a new tissue, thereby helping the skin become denser, firmer and more elastic.
Moreover, the radio waves give rise to the process of selective thermal lipolysis, i.e. controlled destruction of fat cells, which results in the reduction of fat and slimming of the treatment area. On the other hand, the shock wave impulses break down subcutaneous fat deposits, thereby reducing cellulite.
The radiofrequency and shock wave therapy boost microcirculation and removal of metabolic waste products, which consequently reduces oedemas and detoxifies the body.

BTL UNISON is a comprehensive treatment procedure recommended to everybody who wants to get rid of such problems as local accumulation of fatty tissue, cellulite, uneven skin surface, flabby and sagging skin, a tendency to oedemas and water retention in the body, as well as metabolic disorders.
We recommend that the BTL UNISON treatment procedure be combined with the LYMPHASTIM lymphatic drainage session. These are two complementary techniques, the combination of which maximises the effects of the treatment.
The procedure starts with the application of a special cream to the skin. Next, circular movements are made on the treated area, using the device’s applicator.
During the treatment procedure, the skin feels warm – a sensation comparable to that which is experienced during a hot stone massage therapy with mechanical vibrations. Our Patients describe this procedure as comfortable.
Most Patients experience satisfying effects after 4–6 treatment sessions. We recommend a series of 6 treatment procedures performed once a week in conjunction with the LYMPHASTIM lymphatic drainage.
To achieve the best possible effect, we recommend that two lymphatic drainage sessions be performed before a series of BTL UNISON treatment procedures in order to accelerate the elimination of metabolic waste products.
Due to the intensity of the treatment procedure, no more than two small areas can be targeted during a single session.
A series of treatment procedures on the next area may be performed 4 weeks after the end of the previous series.
The treatment procedure takes approx. 20–30 minutes for a single area (e.g. the abdomen).
The BTL UNISON treatment procedure requires no recovery period. The shock wave and radiofrequency penetrates deep into the skin, leaving only a slightly red spot on the skin’s surface, which may persist up to a few days. Patients can resume their normal daily activities immediately after the treatment procedure.
